Welcome to Brooksville Movers! By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Scope of Services

Brooksville Movers provides moving and storage services, including local moves, long-distance moves, commercial moving, residential moving, and storage solutions. The scope of services will be outlined in the service agreement provided prior to your move.


2. Booking and Payment Terms

  • Booking Confirmation:
    A reservation is confirmed only after a signed service agreement and payment of a deposit.

  • Deposit Policy:
    A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking date and time.

  • Payment Methods:
    We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or other methods specified in the service agreement. Full payment must be made before the final delivery of items.

  • Late Payment Fees:
    Any outstanding balances are subject to a late fee as specified in the invoice.


3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation:
    Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled move. Deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the service agreement.

  • Rescheduling:
    You may reschedule your move with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.


4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Packing:
    Customers are responsible for packing their belongings unless packing services are purchased. Brooksville Movers is not liable for damage to items packed by the customer.

  • Inventory List:
    Customers must provide an accurate inventory list prior to the move. Items not listed may not be included in the service agreement.

  • Valuables:
    Items of extraordinary value (e.g., jewelry, cash, antiques) should be transported by the customer. Brooksville Movers is not responsible for loss or damage to such items.


5. Liability and Claims

  • Standard Liability:
    Brooksville Movers’ liability for loss or damage is limited to $0.60 per pound per item unless additional insurance is purchased.

  • Insurance Options:
    Customers may purchase additional insurance coverage for their belongings. Contact us for details.

  • Claims:
    Claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery. Claims received after this period may not be honored.


6. Storage Terms

  • Storage Fees:
    Storage services are subject to additional fees outlined in the service agreement.

  • Access to Storage:
    Access to storage units must be arranged in advance and may be subject to fees.

  • Unclaimed Items:
    Items left in storage beyond the agreed term without payment may be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with local laws.


7. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted for transport or storage:

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., explosives, flammable items)
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, plants)
  • Illegal items or substances

8. Delays and Force Majeure

Brooksville Movers is not responsible for delays due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Traffic incidents
  • Acts of God
  • Strikes or labor disputes

9. Termination of Services

Brooksville Movers reserves the right to terminate services in cases of non-compliance with these terms or unsafe working conditions.


10. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined therein.


11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of [County], Florida.


12. Amendments

Brooksville Movers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
